YOUR DAILY DEVOTION FOR JANUARY 3, 2015

CROSS COVER - BLOGTitus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

It is absolutely impossible for man to perform works of righteousness in order to be saved. It is only because and through the blood shed on the cross of Calvary that we can receive salvation. The blood of Jesus washes away our sin and regenerates us. It is actually the Holy Ghost who carries out the work of regeneration, but only through the blood of Jesus. This is done when we exhibit faith in Jesus Christ and what He did at Calvary.
